Description
"Planters Peanuts"began as a vision in the mind of a young Italian immigrant by the name of Amedeo Obici, He started his career working as a fruit stand vendor and bellhop in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but he later packed up and moved to nearby Wilkes-Barre, It was there that he purchased a peanut roaster and opened a fruit stand all his own, thus laying the groundwork for the foundation of what would become "
Planters".....
This old sign is a rare piece of advertising from the 1930's, Its porcelain and a little chipped up, it still has alot of luster though and a ton of advertising, it measures 9 1/2" by 4"......
Thanks for checking this out, we most certainly appreciate it......
