, the fun place to shop. We are happy to offer a nice vintage key wind pocket watch. The watch along with others were purchased at an Estate Sale in upper Michigan. My understanding was that the original owner was a avid Pocket Watch collector since the 1950's. We have a "
NO NAME" FRENCH KEY WIND POCKET WATCH (See pics). The watch has a hand setting peg missing but the winding peg is in there.
The case is a silver tone in color and the face is an off white in color the movement is a gold tone. On the front of the movement case cover is engraved:
No. 32278, CYLINDRE DIX RUBIS ( French for Cylinder escapement ten rubies).
no markings found on movement.
Watch appears to run on and off, I'm sure it need a good over haul.
Measures: 1 7/8" dia. (47 mm) a little smaller then the average pocket watch. Weighs 2.7 oz. In very nice condition for its age.
