Unlike these retailers who sell the light weight 0.016 inch diameter wire which has a strong tendency to become easily bent out of shape and doesn't hold up well to the high heat production processes; the Jig Junkie screw-loc is the preferred heavier gauge wire (0.0235 inch diameter). This is the same wire forms we use in America's #1 Shakey Head jigs. We should, however, warn you. This heavier gauge wire does not fit the 1/16-oz Shakey Head mold cavities without some modification (trimming).
