    Description

    This scarce Victorian era nickel plated watch chain is very ornate. It measures 10" long and features three chains--snake chains on the outsides and a curb link in the center. It has a large 1 1/8" by 7/8" rectangular fob which is not only engraved with Victorian style patterns but also has three "jewels" diagonally set--two green and a red in the middle, all cabochons. The chain also has an attached, original fob which is an openwork star. The claw end is marked "CMO." The chain is in very nice, original condition. The red jewel has chips on the top and the spring loaded end has some brassing. Beautiful old piece.
