Description
This 12.375" square, modular plant training, ScrOG (screen of green) and heavy flower support trellis mounts to two bamboo (or similar) stakes via two included standard 2" metal spring clamps. Utilizing this semi-rigid design, unlike netting or other methods, individual plant branches and dense flowers are easily tied securely, managed and supported. Openings measure 2.6" diagonally. This modular design combines all the benefits of a traditional ScrOG/trellis system. Yet adding convenience in the ability to rotate, adjust and remove individual potted plants from a crowded grow tent without disassembling and untangling a plant from a complicated netting system.
You'll love how easily you increase your level canopy area, flower sites, airflow and overall harvest yield. While decreasing powdery and downy mildew potential, chaotic plant footprint, and extensive stake use with this simple training and support solution.
Managing an unruly plant is now now much easier. Simply bend the plant over, taking care not to overdo it thus breaking the main stem. Then clip the trellis on the flanking stakes to the height of the bent main stem. Lastly, thread the desired branches through the trellis and tie them wherever you see fit. After a week or more the branches will again be reaching for the light, then simply bend and again tie them a few inches from their tops level with the trellis.
Shipped as a single piece trellis, 3D printed of PLA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polylactic_acid#Production) and two 2" metal spring clamps. The clips attach to the unit in less than a minute. Once assembled, simply insert two bamboo or similar, 1/2" diameter or smaller stakes, opposite each other into the planter's soil or the ground flanking the desired plant. Then simply let the plant grow into the trellis, which is clipped to the stakes about 1-2 feet or so above the soil. For larger plants, in a tapered container, position the trellis higher by inserting one handle end of the metal spring clamp into the clip block with the jaws opening away from the trellis, to position it lower, insert the clamps in the opposite direction with the jaws opening towards the center.
