For your consideration, a stunning, absolutely gorgeous, hand chased, highly ornate .950 Sterling cigarette case. Inside and out, this case is in superb condition. The sterling silver is of excellent quality (.950 better than .925), and is very thick. In weighs in at 145.3 grams. The push button mechanism is in perfect working order, and the case snaps shut with a rich, bassy tone (not a high pitched tinny sound). The hinges on the opposite end are perfect. As you follow the line where the edges meet (when closed) you can see it’s closure is flawless. No warping whatsoever, no even a little. On the inside it is extremely shiny. The keepers (which keep the cigarettes in place) are also silver, not elastic. They are completely intact, and the individual links are also ornately designed. The shape of the case has a curve to it, to feel comfortable in the pocket. There are NO DINGS OR DENTS on this case. But by far, the most impressive element of this case is the artisans handiwork seen on the exterior of the case. It is extremely detailed, using swirls, lines, points, throughout, both on the front and back of the case. The exterior edges of the case are smooth and shiny. The first thing you notice about this case, which is so unique, is how it’s many facets catch and reflect the light like twinkling starlight. Literally. It blew me away when I first purchased it for that reason. The case has no monogram nor date. It measures approximately 4 1/8 x 3 inches. It weighs 145.3 grams. I have owned Many cigarette cases in my life, without a doubt, this is the most beautiful. The fact that it’s in such excellent condition only adds to that fact and makes it a true find.
