What are CHIRASHI?
A chirashi is Japanese mini-poster. The size is usually around 18cm x 26cm or 7 1/4 inch x 10 inches. Chirashi frequently sport dazzlingly colourful, uniquely Japanese design and typography, ranging in style from traditional to highly contemporary. These mini-posters are given to moviegoers from two months up until the release of a movie. Once the advertised movie has begun showing, the chirashi are discontinued. The text on chirashi is usually mostly in Japanese, and aside from being very collectable, chirashi posters make charming gifts for anyone interested in contemporary Japanese culture. Chirashi look great on the wall too! They are the perfect size to frame for special chirashi or to keep saved in a book for your collection!

We carefully ship our posters in a plastic sleeve for protection against moisture and dirt, then once sealed in plastic we place it in a firm card envelope which prevents the poster from bending and getting creased. Shipping generally takes 2-3 weeks to North America and Europe, 1-3 weeks to Asia and Australia/New Zealand, up to 5 weeks to other parts of the world.
As we are shipping Internationally from Japan, please understand and give your consideration that it may take longer to arrive than domestic shipments.
