    Description

    This is the Regular Edition of the 2008 Compass Rose Geocoin.
    It has not been activated and is trackable.  It has an Icon.
    I confirmed that is has not been activated at Geocaching.com/track/details.
    The coin is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter and approximately 3.5mm thick.  It is copper in color with translucent and solid hard enamel colors on the front and on the back.
    The front of the coin features a Portuguese compass rose used on a 1539 map documenting the exploration of the South American coast line.
    The back features Ferdinand Magellan's ship Victoria.  It also features the Southern Cross constellation in the sky behind Victoria.
