for auction is an antique sterling silver vesta/match safe, with yellow gold trim. Features an etched griffin and fancy GAG monogram. Full British hallmarks for London, date letter for 1892, F_ maker mark (can't make out second letter), and sterling silver.
Missing its inner spring bar, good closure otherwise. A few minor dings and wear, otherwise decent condition.
Measures about 2 1/16" x 1 11/16".
Total weight is 48.4 grams.
