Just for fun, we wanted to see what was the toughest pocket watch strap we could create that would look elegant and still be affordable.  This strap is what we came up with.  A very unique, super-heavy-duty pocket watch strap made entirely of bison leather.  This strap is color-matched both sides and skillfully  handmade by KER Leather.  This strap is made of very thick bison hide leather in order to make it very strong and very tough.  We tested the design by using the strap to pick up 15 pounds, which it did with no problem!  Perfect for that fine watch that you just don't want to trust to a flimsy chain or strap.  The rich, dark brown color really adds a luxurious look to this strap.  We do not order our leather by mail; we go to our supplier personally and pick out the best hides so that we can make the highest quality product.  These are brand new and individually handmade right here in the USA.  Chrome-tanned leather can damage the finish on a watch, so we make sure that we do NOT use any leather that is chrome-tanned. A leather pocket watch strap allows you to wear your pocket watch without having to worry about a metal chain scratching it.  Perfect for carrying a family heirloom, high end, or mint condition pocket watch without worrying about damaging it with a metal chain.  These deep brown, bison leather straps are about 12 inches long.  That length is perfect for attaching the strap to a belt loop, and dropping the watch right into the pocket.  12 inches allows the watch to rest securely in the pocket, but still allows the watch to be retrieved quickly, without having to pull a lot of strap out of the pocket to get to the watch.  Pull the strap through the small slit to attach it to the watch, then slide the entire watch through the large slit to attach it to the clothing.  THE WATCH IS FOR DEMONSTRATION AND IS NOT PART OF THE AUCTION.  If you have ANY problems with this item, or transaction, just contact me directly, and I'll make sure you're taken care of.   My customers are important to me.   Free Shipping in the United States.  International buyers will have to pay shipping.
