Antique Art Nouveau German .800 silver smoking set decorated in repousse with a mistletoe pattern. The set comprises of a cigarette case and match safe or vesta case (both with gilded interiors), with a cigar cutter, pencil case, and mustache comb case. Together with a metal mechanical pencil decorated with fleur de lis and the Notre Dame de Lourdes (Our Lady of Lourdes) crowned monogram emblem. The silver pieces bear hallmarks of German crescent moon and crown, and .800 silver. Sealed with a crown, the mustache comb case with the letters “DRGM” ( acronym standing for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster). In overall good condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. There are small dents to the very end part of the pencil and end of the mustache comb. Cigarette case measures 3 3/8" x 2 1/4". Comb measures 3 1/8" length. Pencil is 3 1/4" length. Match safe is 7 3/4" x 1 1/8". Cigar cutter 1 3/4" length. Mechanical pencil is 1 7/8". Box measures 8 7/8" x 4 7/8" x 1 1/8".
