    Offered here is a rare antique from early 20th. century silver Memento-mori pocket watch chain chatelaine
    fob.
    Continental fine silver, featuring human skeleton with sand clock in hands and fire as symbol of mortality.
    Beautiful piece made with great attention to details.
    Marked for silver back with 0.800 silver mark and also marked on the loop 800.
    Big robust loop on top for attaching Gentlemen's pocket watch chain.
    Recently inspected by professional jeweler to confirm silver content and authenticity.
    It is excellent preserved for it's age.
    Found at an estate sale in Linz Austria. Not sure of its history other then it came from an estate of a world traveler and antiques collector.
