    4th century Christian Virgin and Martyr, also known as " St.Barbe, the Great Martyr ".
    Round golden brass case,t
    he interior compartment is under glass on a red cloth background with gold decoration, the relic is placed on a dark backing above the name label which reads
    " Ste.Barbe ".
    The back case cover is very firmly closed but can be removed to view the red string seals and the official red wax Church seal with Cardinal's hat and stem. All are in place and intact.
    Antique miniature reliquary in good condition with minor signs of wear and age, some stains and marks with traces of previous silvering on the brass case.
