A beautiful and rare unmounted hand painted Russian

Theotokas Panagia miniature mosaic ca. 11/15th century.
A
miniature such as this was painstakingly painted in great detail with colored mosaics of red, white, blue, gold, black and brown pigments and would have been housed within a book, or perhaps gifted to the recipient who could then frame it as they like.
It is in wonderful, original, antique condition with no damage or cracks to the painting and as seen in the pics.  This is a beautiful and rare 11/15th century devotional relic that will make a great addition to any collection!
