8 Vintage Mr Peanut Advertising Glass Tumbler 5 1/4" Drinking Planters Glasses

This listing includes a set of eight glass advertising tumblers.  They feature a black and yellow Mr Peanut design on the front. The glasses have no maker's mark but I acquired them in the shown Dominion Glass Company box. They fit into it perfectly but I can't say for sure if it was the original box.  The box appears to be from the 1940s or 1950s.  I can't find anything to indicate that Dominion, of Canada, ever manufactured Mr Peanut products.  I do see that this particular Mr Peanut is a fairly rare style with no yellow band around the glass and a straight down cane.  Another hint as to the age might be that there is no "R" registration mark. Those marks were not used until after 1946 according to my research.
The glasses measure 5 1/4" tall and 2 3/4" diameter at the rim. They have no chips, nicks, scratches or even any sign of wear.  Note the tiny black dot above Mr Peanut. That is present on all eight glasses so it's from the manufacturing process.

If you live on the west coast please allow that transit time and costs will be more than average from Florida.
